FIRST ALERT WEATHER CENTER. METEOROLOGIST JONATHAN CONDER. THERE IS A CHANCE THERE IS A RISK OF STORMS HERE OVER THE WEEKEND. NUMBER ONE TONIGHT, SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHERN OKLAHOMA WITH A VERY LOW RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER. THAT’S LIKE BARELY A LEVEL ONE 60 MILE PER HOUR WINDS. TIMING AGAIN LATE TONIGHT. NORTHERN OKLAHOMA THAT THAT THREAT IS VERY LOW. IT’S GOING TO BE FOR LIKE ONE INCH HAIL 60 MILE PER HOUR. WINDS SHOULD BE DRY MOST OF SATURDAY. THERE ARE SOME LOW RAIN CHANCES THERE, BUT STORMS ARE WINDING BACK UP FOR SATURDAY NIGHT COMING OUT OF KANSAS AND NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA. THAT IS A HIGHER PROBABILITY. THAT RISK. IT’S THE SAME LEVEL ONE RISK, BUT IT COMES ALL THE WAY DOWN TO I-40. THIS IS FOR 60 MILE PER HOUR WINDS AND ONE INCH HAIL. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE. WE HAVE BETTER RAIN CHANCES SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY AND THAT WILL TANK OUR TEMPERATURES. IT’S REALLY NICE. HEAT RELIEF AND THEN IT’S NOT. THEN WE TURN HOT AND DRY AND THERE’S A LOT TO TALK ABOUT. After a hot day on Friday with some rain chances, there is a risk for severe storms over the weekend.>> KOCO weather page | Get KOCO on the goKOCO 5 meteorologist Jonathan Conder says there's a chance of scattered thunderstorms across northern Oklahoma with a very low risk of severe weather on Friday. Those storms could produce 1-inch hail and 60 mph winds and may move across northern Oklahoma starting around 11 p.m. and into early Saturday morning.Jonathan says it should be mostly dry on Saturday, but storms coming out of Kansas into northwestern Oklahoma could wind back up during the evening hours. There is a level-one marginal risk for Saturday night, but the risk comes all the way down to Interstate 40.Oklahoma also has better rain chances on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, which will tank our temperatures.Jonathan shows when you could see storms over the weekend. KOCO 5 meteorologist Jonathan Conder says there's a chance of scattered thunderstorms across northern Oklahoma with a very low risk of severe weather on Friday.
