KOCO 5 Meteorologist Taylor Cox says while most of the state will stay dry, a spotty shower or storm could pop up near Clinton and Hobart around 3:30 p.m. Those storms won't last long, and the better chance for storms will come around 5 p.m. and later.
Taylor says northwestern Oklahoma has the best chance to see storms later Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
The storms could produce ping-pong ball-sized hail in northwestern Oklahoma and quarter-sized hail in southwestern to central and north-central Oklahoma. They also could bring 60-70 mph winds to the northwestern part of the state and 50-60 mph wind gusts from Altus to the OKC metro, Ponca City and Bartlesville.
Taylor says she doesn't expect the storms to be as severe when they reach the OKC metro.
Another round of storms could move in on Sunday, with western and central Oklahoma being under a level-one marginal risk.
