Video: Dog slurps water and interrupts owner's work call
A thirsty pooch in California lapped up so much water that she disrupted her owner's video meeting and became an internet hit. "She just walked over and started slurping out of the doggy bowl," said Dawn Vercelli, 11-year-old Bella's owner. Vercelli was on an important call while working from home when Bella loudly took the drink. "My mom told everyone to be quiet and then she started slurping but then she just kept going," said Dawn's daughter, Jessica, who recorded the incident. "You're hearing my dog," Dawn says on the call. The comments from the internet were gold. Some asked if it was Bella's first time drinking water, while others questioned if the bowl was big enough to hold that much water.Another suggested that Dawn empty the water dish before her next meeting. "Now there's a good idea," Dawn said. Watch the video above to see Bella's long — and loud — sip of water.
