THAT PURSUIT HITTING SPEEDS OF UP TO 120MPH. KOCO IS AUDREY GOODSON JOINING US LIVE OUTSIDE THE OKLAHOMA COUNTY JAIL IN AUDREY. THAT DRIVER WAS ARRESTED. SHELBY AND KYLIE KOCO WAS THE FIRST ON SCENE THIS MORNING. AFTER THAT SUSPECT’S TIRES BLEW OUT. SO YES, HE HAS BEEN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY NOW. NOW, AFTER STATE TROOPERS TELL US THIS ALL STARTED NEAR SOUTHWEST 44TH IN MAY, EARLY THIS MORNING, THEY SAY THEY SPOTTED A DRIVER THAT WAS GOING THE WRONG WAY DOWN MAY AVENUE. TROOPERS TRIED TO PULL THAT DRIVER OVER, BUT THE CAR SPEEDING AWAY EVEN FASTER. OHP EVEN CALLING THE DRIVER’S ACTIONS OVERNIGHT RECKLESS AS DURING THE PURSUIT, THE VEHICLE REACHED OVER 120 MILES AN HOUR. THEY BRAKE CHECKED AND SWERVED AT OUR TROOPERS SEVERAL TIMES. MORE TROOPERS STEPPING IN TO HELP AND EVENTUALLY THE SUSPECT’S FRONT TIRES WENT FLAT AND BY THE END OF THE PURSUIT, TROOPERS SAY THE SUSPECT WAS JUST DRIVING ON THEIR RIM. TROOPERS WERE ABLE TO PIN THAT CAR AND EVENTUALLY TAKE THAT SUSPECT INTO CUSTODY. NOW THAT DRIVER WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND AFTER THAT DRIVER IS BEING DONE, CHECKED OUT, THEY WILL BE CHECKED IN HERE TO THE OKLAHOMA COUNTY JA

A suspect was arrested early Monday morning after leading troopers on a high-speed chase that reached speeds up to 120 mph through Oklahoma City. Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials told KOCO 5 that the pursuit started near Southwest 44th Street and May Avenue with a driver going north on May without their lights on.
