Body of missing college student Riley Strain recovered from river near Nashville
FEBRUARY. A UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI STUDENT HAS NOW BEEN MISSING FOR NEARLY TWO WEEKS. SOMEONE FOUND HIS BANK CARD ON THE EMBANKMENT OF A NASHVILLE RIVER WHERE 22 YEAR OLD RILEY STRAIN WAS LAST SEEN. NOW, BEFORE HE WENT MISSING, STRAIN WAS KICKED OUT OF A BAR IN NASHVILLE’S BROADWAY AREA. ESCORTING DRUNK PEOPLE FROM BUSINESSES OR HELPING THEM TO GET HOME. BUT STATE LAW PROHIBITS SERVING ALCOHOL TO SOMEONE WHO IS VISIBLY INTOXICATED. EVERY STATE HAS THOSE LAWS ON THE BOOKS. WHAT THE ISSUE IS, IS, NUMBER ONE, HOW DO YOU PROVE THAT? NUMBER TWO, WHAT OBLIGATIONS DO THE BAR PATRONS HAVE IN TERMS OF MAKING SURE THEY SELF-MONITOR? AND YOU KNOW, PACE THEMSELVES AND MAKE GOOD JUDGMENT CALLS? AND HE SAYS IT’S A SMALL PROBABILITY A CASE WOULD COME OUT UNTIL THEY LEARN MORE. HE SAYS IT WOULD LIKELY BE CIVIL, N
