Watch: 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' trailer released
The first trailer for the upcoming "Beetlejuice" sequel was released on Thursday.
Tim Burton has returned to direct the sequel, entitled "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," 36 years after the original "Beetlejuice."
Winona Ryder is also returning for the film, reprising her role from the first film as Lydia Deetz. Catherine O'Hara is returning as Delia Deetz, and, of course, Michael Keaton is reprising his role as Beetlejuice.
The trailer follows Jenna Ortega, who plays Lydia Deetz's daughter, as she goes around the town of the first film and into the attic where Beetlejuice lives inside the miniature town.
The trailer also shows Lydia Deetz coming face-to-face with Beetlejuice after he is released from his prison.
The entire trailer has the song "Day O" playing in the background as an homage to the first movie with the only words being spoken by Beetlejuice saying, "The juice is loose."
It is unknown if Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis will be reprising their roles after they starred in the first one and ultimately saved the Deetz family from Beetlejuice.
Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe and Justin Theroux are also joining the cast.
The film will be released in theaters on Sept. 6.
