When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot inside the home.The man was taken to OU Health, where police said he was pronounced dead. The Oklahoma City Police Department identified him as Charles Edgar Johnson III, 27.Police said investigators learned an altercation broke out, which led to the shooting. Detectives interviewed all parties involved, including the shooter."When officers arrived, they found one person there suffering from a gunshot wound," MSgt. Gary Knight, with the Oklahoma City Police Department, said. Officers said the victim pulled out a gun, which is when the homeowner shot him.The Oklahoma City Police Department says the district attorney will decide if the shooting was a case of self-defense and if charges will be filed.
