Andy Weber is a general assignment reporter for KOCO 5 News. You can catch his reports every weeknight at 5 and 6 on KOCO.

Andy joined the team in September 2021 after reporting at WEEK-TV in Peoria, Illinois for two years. During his time in Central Illinois, he covered a variety of stories including crime, major court cases, and was in the room to witness the state's first COVID-19 vaccination. He also reported from Chicago in February 2020 after former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was released from federal prison.

Andy is a native Chicagoan and a graduate of the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University. There, he served as General Manager for the student-run TV station, and was captain for GW's varsity cross country and track teams.

While he's not reporting, he's binging the latest docuseries on Netflix and tries to get out for a run at least once a week.
