The University of Oklahoma women's gymnastics team broke its program scoring record again during the Sooners' recent victory over West Virginia.OU beat West Virginia 198.675-195.550 on Friday, which marks the fifth time the Sooners have scored 198-plus this season. Along with being a new program record, OU's 198.675 is the highest score in the nation this season and the fourth-highest score in NCAA history.Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here.With the team record came some personal bests on Friday as the Sooners swept the event titles.Jordan Bowers won the all-around title with a career-best 39.800. She became the third OU gymnast to ever post a 39.800+ in the all-around, with the other two being Maggie Nichols and Anastasia Webb. Bowers also won the bars and floor titles.Faith Torrez earned a career-high 39.775 in the all-around and won the vault title with a 9.925. They have a National Qualifying Score of 198.270, which is the highest opening NQS in program history.They return to action against Michigan at 6:15 p.m. on March 1 at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman. OU beat West Virginia 198.675-195.550 on Friday, which marks the fifth time the Sooners have scored 198-plus this season. Along with being a new program record, OU's 198.675 is the highest score in the nation this season and the fourth-highest score in NCAA history.
