The eventual Sooner and NBA All-Star scored 1,663 points during his career at Oklahoma Christian School. Some of the other guys on the list that Gray has also passed are pretty impressive, as Chianti Roberts was No. 2 and Taylor Griffin was No. 3.
Gray should also surpass Griffin's rebounding record later this season. The high school senior recently spoke with KOCO 5 about the record-setting moment.
"It was awesome, man. I'll always remember that," Gray said. "When I shot the ball, it just felt perfect, and I knew it was going in. And when my friends and my teammates came and rushed me, and I saw everyone in the crowd. I'll always cherish those moments like that. And it was incredible to see. It was dope, for sure."
