OUR CREWS OUT THERE ON THE ROAD FOR US THIS MORNING MONITORING THOSE SLICK CONDITIONS AND COLD TEMPERATURES THAT HAVE THE STUDENTS OUT OF THE CLASSROOM IN OKLAHOMA CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS, JUST ONE OF MANY DISTRICTS ACROSS THE STATE THAT WILL EITHER LEARN VIRTUALLY OR HAVE THEIR CLASSES CANCELED TODAY, YESTERDAY, WE TALKED TO THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SHAWNEE SCHOOLS WHO MADE THE DECISION TO CLOSE. THEY HAVE A LARGE AMOUNT OF OUR STUDENTS WHO WE TRANSPORT ON THE BUSSES AND, AND KNOW THAT THEY’RE GOING TO BE OUT THERE IN THAT FRIGID TEMPERATURE. AND SO REALLY FELT LIKE THAT WAS OUR MAIN FACTOR WHEN WE FINALLY WE WILL FINALLY MAKE IT ABOVE FREEZING LATE TOMORROW MORNING. BUT IN THE MEANTIME, WE’LL BE MONITORING ANY SCHOOL CLOSURES FOR TOMORROW. SO MAKE SURE YOU’RE STICKING WITH US FOR THAT. SEVERAL DISTRICTS ALSO CLOSING FOR VIRTUAL, UH, CLOSED OR VIRTUAL TODAY.
