Get ready to hear the words "El Nino" a lot this winter – if you haven't already. Warmer-than-normal ocean waters deep into The Pacific Ocean will help control our weather this winter, and there are signs of it happening this December.
One thing to keep in mind, no one particular storm can be attributed to El Nino since El Nino is a long-term impact rather than one particular storm. In that case, during a five-month period in Oklahoma from November to March, we typically see a wetter-than-normal stretch with temperatures near normal.
