Authorities captured two inmates who escaped from a correctional center in northeastern Oklahoma over the weekend.
The Hominy Police Department said Brandon Cherry and Aaron Victory II were apprehended by U.S. Marshals agents and McCurtain County deputies in McCurtain County.

Authorities are searching for two inmates who escaped from a correctional center in northeastern Oklahoma and were later in a vehicle that was involved in a pursuit.

Hominy Police Department officials said two inmates identified as Aaron Victory II and Bradley Cherry escaped Sunday evening from the Dick Conner Correctional Center. They were last seen on camera around 6 p.m. but weren't noticed to be missing until 10 p.m.
The two were in prison for various drug and theft charges, and police said they were in minimum security housing.
Victory is from the McCurtain County area, and Cherry is from the Oklahoma County area, according to police.
Hominy police said in a social media post around 3:45 a.m. Monday they were advised that Pushmataha County deputies were involved in a pursuit. The deputies got the driver to stop, and two men ran from the vehicle.
Deputies ran after the suspects, but police said they got away. The driver was taken into custody, and authorities identified the two who ran away as Cherry and Victory.
Hominy police said an Orange Alert was issued and that there was no active threat to the community or surrounding areas. Anyone who sees Cherry and Victory is asked to not approach them and to call 911.
