Three people were killed in a collision early Saturday morning in McCurtain County.

A Nissan Rogue transporting five people departed the road on Oklahoma State Highway 87, just south of the town of Tom, at around 5 a.m. The car then struck a tree on the passenger side.
The driver, Collyn White, 21, died on the scene. Two passengers, Ricky Kennybrew, 36, and Brianna Ruth, 23, also died on the scene.
White and Kennybrew were pinned in the car for approximately five hours before being freed by firefighters, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Ruth was ejected approximately 10 feet from the car.
Three others were injured in the crash but were expected to be OK. The collision report said seatbelts were not in use at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
