COMING UP HERE IN A FEW MINUTES. ALL RIGHT, JONATHAN, THANKS. WILL. DEVELOPING OVERNIGHT, A FIRE DAMAGES A POPULAR DOWNTOWN OKLAHOMA CITY RESTAURANT. AND OUR CREWS ON THAT SCENE THIS MORNING. SO THIS IS AT THE SUNNYSIDE DINER OFF OF NORTHWEST SIXTH IN CLASSEN. AUDREY GOODSON HAS WHAT THE DAMAGE WAS LEFT BEHIND. SHELBY KYLIE. GOOD MORNING. NOW THAT THE SUN HAS COME UP, WE’RE ABLE TO SEE A LOT MORE OF THIS DAMAGE HERE. I’M GOING TO STEP OUT OF THE WAY AND JUST SHOW YOU GUYS WHAT WE’RE SEEING HERE. YOU CAN SEE THAT HEAVY SMOKE DAMAGE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. AND CREWS HAVE ALSO BOARDED UP SOME BROKEN WINDOWS AND DOORS. CREWS SAY THEY WERE ABLE TO LUCKILY CONTAIN MOST OF THE FIRE TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. THE OKLAHOMA CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT SAYS THEY WERE INITIALLY CALLED HERE ON A REPORTED TRASH FIRE AROUND 2:00 THIS MORNING. BUT WHEN THEY GOT OUT TO THE SCENE, THEY FOUND THE FENCE BEHIND THE RESTAURANT ON FIRE. AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, BEHIND THAT FENCE WERE SOME PROPANE TANKS, WHICH CREWS SAY WERE INVOLVED. WE’RE TOLD THAT THE FIRE THEN SPREAD TO THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING, BREAKING FRONT DOORS AND CAUSING SMOKE AND WATER DAMAGE ON THE INSIDE SIDE. THE FIRE DID IMPINGE ON THE INTERIOR OF THE STRUCTURE SOMEWHAT, BUT IT DOESN’T APPEAR TO BE, YOU KNOW, A LOT OF DAMAGE, MOSTLY WATER DAMAGE ON THE ENTIRE INTERIOR. THE OKLAHOMA CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT SAYS THANKFULLY, THOUGH, THAT SMOKE DAMAGE IS ONLY MINOR AND THAT NO ONE WAS HURT IN THIS. BUT THEY DO SAY THAT THE RESTAURANT WILL BE CLOSED TODAY. THE BUSY INTERSECTION HERE AT NORTHWEST SIXTH AND CLASSEN WAS SHUT OFF WHILE CREWS WERE STARTING TO FIGHT THAT FIRE. BUT IT IS BACK OPEN I
