It was Halloween and the darkness was so thick that nothing could stir in it. The moon moved slowly out from behind *** cloud and glared at the earth like *** cold evil eye. Scary stories are Roberta Brown's life. She entertained herself with creepy tales as *** child near Appalachia. My parents always told me scary stories and I loved it. Her spookiest ones were relayed today to her sixth grade class at Southern middle school. Her formula for fear, the more familiar, the better if they hear my story lockers, which is about this school, an intruder and *** ghost, they get scared because they're gonna have to walk down that hall, go into that locker room and be near those lockers. My grandma knew there was something different about this house because every time my grandpa was in town, she and it rained. She heard *** baby crying coming out of the cell before they were released from the darkened classroom. The kids themselves had to tell *** terrifying tale. *** strange voice on the phone said I'm coming. I'll be there in *** second. This lesson taught the kids how hard it is to write and tell the perfect story. Now they really appreciate their teacher and author of two creepy and ghoulish books. She looked up to see two dark figures looming over her. Another cry filled the night. This time it was Hers Brown has experienced the paranormal and supernatural throughout her entire life and she does believe in ghosts.
