Amazon isn’t the only retailer holding a major savings event in the month of October. Walmart joined the fray and is holding its own “Prime Day”-like event to kick off the holiday season. Walmart is holding Walmart Deals - Holiday Kickoff savings event that will feature deals on thousands of the most-wanted holiday gifts across electronics, home, fashion, toys and more. Walmart Deals - Holiday Kickoff began on Monday at 12 p.m. EST, and the deals will be running through Oct. 12.While Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event was exclusive to Amazon Prime subscribers, Walmart Deals – Holiday Kickoff is available for anyone to take advantage of, whether you are a Walmart+ member or not.
