Officials confirmed an on-duty Logan County deputy was involved in an overnight crash in Edmond.

Just after 11 p.m. on Saturday, officials responded to a scene on Sooner Road and Charter Oak Road where a Logan County deputy had been involved in a crash. The Logan County Sheriff's Office said the deputy was taken to the hospital but was released on Sunday.
The deputy suffered three fractures in his neck. Follow-up appointments will determine if surgery will be needed, according to Logan County Sheriff Damon Devereaux.
The driver of the other vehicle was treated on scene before being arrested by Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He was taken to the Logan County Jail on complaints of DUI causing great bodily injury, driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license, and failure to maintain security.
KOCO hasn't released the suspect's name since he hasn't been formally charged.
