GOOD MORNING. IF YOU WERE IN THE AREA OF 23RD MERIDIAN THIS MORNING, YOU MAY HAVE SEEN FLASHING POLICE LIGHTS AND HEARD SIRENS. YOU ALSO MIGHT HAVE SEEN POLICE HELICOPTERS AND DRONES UP. THAT’S BECAUSE POLICE WERE LOOKING FOR A SUSPECT WHO WAS DRIVING A STOLEN CAR. TRIED PULLING A DRIVER OVER NEAR 23RD AND MACARTHUR REALIZING THAT THEY WERE DRIVING A STOLEN CAR OR WHEN POLICE WENT TO MAKE THAT TRAFFIC STOP, THE DRIVER SPED AWAY LEADING OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE ON A SHORT PURSUIT THAT LASTED A FEW BLOCKS TO 23RD MERIDIAN BEFORE THEY GOT OUT ON FOOT. NOW HERE YOU CAN SEE IN THIS VIDEO, POLICE SETTING UP A PERIMETER TO LOOK FOR THE SUSPECT. OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE USING THEIR AIR ONE HELICOPTER AND DRONES TO CIRCLE THAT AREA, TRYING TO FIND THEM. OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE SAY THEY STILL HAVEN’T FOUND THE SUSPECT IN THIS IN OKLAHOMA CITY, AUDREY GOODSON, KOCO FIVE NEWS. ALSO HAPPENING OVERNIGHT, OKC FIRE CREWS CALLED TO A HOUSE FIRE AFTER SMOKE AND HEAVY FLAMES WERE SEEN COMING FROM IT. KOCO WAS FIRST ON THIS SCENE NEAR NORTHEAST 23RD AND MLK AROUND 2:45 A.M. CREWS NOT TELLING US MANY DETAILS, THOUGH. IF WE GET ANY MORE, WE WILL BRING THOSE TO YOU. WELL, THE BODY FOUND ON A PROPERTY IN PAYNE COUNTY IDENTIFIED BY INVESTIGATORS AS MISSING 21 YEAR OLD SAMUEL CRAWFORD AND 21 YEAR OLD CHRISTOPHER SUMMERS HAS BEEN ARRESTED, ACCORDING TO AN ARREST WARRANT. SUMMERS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING ON CRAWFORD’S TRUCK BEFORE HE WENT MISSING. CRAWFORD’S BODY WAS FOUND NEAR PARTS OF HIS TRUCK IN A SHALLOW GRAVE. WE MAKE THE ARREST IN THE CONNECTION BECAUSE WE FOUND THAT DECEASED MALE IN PROXIMITY OF OF WHERE THAT SUSPECT WAS. SUMMERS HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE MURDER. AND NEW THIS MORNING, A STILLWATER MAN HAS DIED AFTER BEING EJECTED FROM HIS MOTORCYCLE. THIS HAPPENED ON US 412 OUTSIDE OF CLEVELAND. OFFICIALS SAY A DOG RAN INTO THE ROAD AND THAT CAUSED THE MOTORCYCLIST TO HIT IT AND LOSE CONTROL AFTER BEING EJECTED. OFFICIALS SAY, SADLY, THAT VICTIM WAS HIT BY A SEMI TRUCK. THEY DIED ON SCENE. NO OTHER INJURIES WERE REPORTED. WELL, NEW THIS MORNING, SUPERINTENDENT RYAN WALTERS REACTING TO A NEW FEDERAL GRANT AWARDED TO THE OKLAHOMA STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. AND THAT AWARD, NEARLY $10 MILLION TO SUPPORT SERVICES THAT ADDRESS THE TRANSITION NEEDS OF OKLAHOMA YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES. THE SUPERINTENDENT REACTING ON X SAYING IN PART, QUOTE, DESPITE LIES FROM THE TEACHERS UNIONS AND COMMENTS FROM SOME MISINFORMED LEGISLATORS, MY ADMINISTRATION IS FULLY ENGAGED IN INVESTING DOLLARS IN EDUCATION THAT BENEFIT KIDS. OUR TRANS PARENT, AND HAVE NO LEFTIST STRINGS AS WELL. PANIC AT THE K COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS AFTER SOMEONE CALLED IN A BOMB THREAT. AND NOW AN INVESTIGATION IS UNDERWAY. SAY THIS HAPPENED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. POLICE SAY SOMEONE CALLED THREATENING TO THROW A BOMB THROUGH THE MARIJUANA GROW ACROSS THE STREET. POLICE SEARCHED THE AREA

Bon Appetit says Sedalia's Oyster & Seafood, which is on Northwest 10th Street in Oklahoma City, is one of the best new restaurants of 2023 that people should try.
