Cub conundrum: Officers, bear expert save bear cub stuck in a tree
BOTH VICTIMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE OKAY. A LAKE MARY FAMILY HAD AN UNEXPECTED GUEST THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND. A BEAR. THE FAMILY’S 13 YEAR OLD SON AND THEIR SECURITY SYSTEM CAUGHT THE WHOLE THING ON CAMERA. WESH 2’S HAYLEY CROMBLEHOLME SPOKE WITH HIM ABOUT HOW THE BEAR GOT INTO THEIR SCREENED IN PATIO AND HELPED HIMSELF TO SOME WHITE CLAWS. OH, MY GOD. I’VE NEVER BEEN THIS CLOSE TO A BEAR. 13 YEAR OLD JOSEPH DIGLIO WAS WATCHING TV SUNDAY, BARKING FROM THE FAMILY’S DOG. BRUNO CLUED HIM IN. THERE WAS SOMETHING OUTSIDE. DIED. OH, MY GOD. IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING, YOU JUST OPENED THE DOOR. HE’S ABOUT TO TAKE THE BEAR. HE’S ABOUT TO TAKE THE BEER. AND WHILE THE BEAR’S ABILITY TO OPEN THE FRIDGE WAS PRETTY COOL, IT WAS ALSO KIND OF CONCERN THING. ONCE I SAW HIM OPEN THE FRIDGE, I GOT SCARED THAT HE COULD OPEN THE DOORS TO, LIKE, THE HOUSES. I FELT LIKE I GOT A LOCK ALL THE DOORS NOW. OH, MY GOD. OKAY, I GOT TO GO LOCK UP MY DOG. BUT IT WAS ULTIMATELY THE BARKS FROM BRUNO THAT SCARED THE BEAR AWAY. THIS PIRATE LIVING WHERE WE LIVE. HONESTLY,
