ON TUESDAYS, INVESTIGATORS SAY A MAN WAS LOOKING THROUGH HIS GIRLFRIEND’S PHONE WHILE SHE SLEPT AND FOUND CRIMINAL VIDEOS AND IMAGES SHOWING A THREE YEAR OLD LITTLE GIRL BEING SEXUALLY ABUSED. INVESTIGATORS SAY THE COUPLE HAD RECENTLY MET ONLINE AND BEGAN DATING BEFORE SHORTLY MOVING IN TOGETHER. AFTER FINDING THE DISTURBING VIDEOS, THE DISTRAUGHT MAN RUSHED TO THE POLICE STATION FOR HELP. Stillwater police arrested a woman accused of sexually abusing a 3-year-old girl after they say her boyfriend found images and videos on her phone. Police said Cheatham admitted to the crimes. “A lot of us are parents, the police officers here, and members of the community as well. If you had that little sinking feeling, trust your gut. Do a thorough background check on everybody that’s going to watch your kids," said Lt. TJ Low with the Stillwater Police Department. Cheatham had applied to work at Nicoma Park Elementary as a paraprofessional. Choctaw-Nicoma Park School District said a mutual decision was made to terminate the hiring process, and she never worked with any students. She was booked into jail on counts of sexual abuse of a child under 12, making or distributing types of obscene material or child pornography, possession of marijuana and violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. Stillwater police said they have no reason to believe there are more victims. But if anyone has concerns or information, they are asked to contact local law enforcement.
