DOCKERY WAS REMEMBERED AS AN ATHLETE, A LOVING SON AND THE BRIGHTEST SMILE IN ANY ROOM. Friends and family honored Merax Dockery, 23, in a moving tribute at his former high school Wednesday before he was taken to his final resting place. Dockery was remembered as an athlete, a loving son and for having the brightest smile in any room.

His fellow Marines honored their brother and his family with the folding of the flag before giving Dockery a hero's sendoff.
