OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE SAY THAT HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT HAPPENED RIGHT HERE OFF OF SOUTHWEST 59TH IN MAY, EARLY THIS MORNING, WHERE AS YOU CAN SEE NOW THAT SCENE HAS SINCE BEEN CLEARED. OFFICERS SAY THIS IS WHERE A WOMAN WAS WALKING DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND WAS STRUCK BY A PICKUP TRUCK WHEN OFFICERS ARRIVED, THEY FOUND A FEMALE LYING IN THE SOUTHBOUND LANES OF MAY. THE LATER FOUND A BLACK CHEVY SILVERADO THAT WAS ABANDONED IN THE 6000 BLOCK OF SOUTH MAY. THAT APPEARS TO BE THE VEHICLE THAT HIT THE FEMALE, THE DRIVER OF THAT PICKUP THEN SPED DOWN TO THE CORNER OF MAY IN SOUTHWEST 59TH, WHERE POLICE SAY THEY GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK AND RAN AWAY. OFFICERS FOUND THAT TRUCK AND STARTED LOOKING FOR THE SUSPECT. OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE ARE NOW TELLING US THAT THE SUSPECT IN THIS HAS NOW BEEN CAUGHT AND ARRESTED I
