Authorities said Payne County Game Warden Josey Branch was checking fishing licenses on a dock at Lake Carl Blackwell on Father's Day when the 1-year-old suddenly fell between the railing and into the water, suddenly sinking. Branch took off his life jacket and dove into the water, which is about 13 feet deep.
The child's father also jumped into the lake, and authorities said the child was brought back to the surface quickly. With people standing on the dock, the two got the girl out of the lake and to her mother.
Other than being scared, officials said the girl was OK.
Oklahoma Game Wardens officials shared a video of the rescue.
The video doesn't show the moments after Branch and the girl's father jumped into the water because Branch's body camera was on the life jacket that he took off. However, the video's audio captured the rest of the rescue.
