Crews battled a house fire after authorities say lightning possibly struck a home Tuesday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department said the fire was at a home in the 10800 block of Northwest 96th Street near Britton and Sara roads. When firefighters arrived, they reported seeing a light haze of smoke in the attic.
Firefighters extinguished the small fire around the chimney and checked for any fire extension and venting smoke from the attic.
Authorities said everyone living in the home was out by the time crews arrived. Crews are performing salvage and overhaul and checking for hotspots.
No injuries have been reported.
Storms brought lightning and thunder to the Oklahoma City metro when they moved through the area Tuesday morning.
