*** sequel to *** fan favorite classic Beetle Juice is officially in the works with the original director Tim Burton set to return at the helm. The project was announced at this year's Cinemacon though details regarding the plot of chapter two or when it will probably debut in theaters weren't revealed. We also don't know whether the cast of the original feature including Winona Ryder, Alec Baldwin and Catherine Horror will return. But we are aware that Michael Keaton is set to reprise his role from the first movie Wednesday star Jenna Ortega is reportedly in talks to join the cast and production will kick off in London either towards the end of May or early June. The horror comedy which was released over three decades ago has become *** cult classic and talks of *** follow up have swirled through the years. The first attempt dates back to the nineties but got shelved as Keaton and Burton focused on making the superhero flick Batman returns. It was then picked up *** decade later but never really materialized due to conflicting schedules, but now it seems like the stars have finally aligned despite the numerous sequel stalls though the movie has gotten an animated series and *** Broadway musical.

Most would agree the 1988 film “Beetlejuice” is a classic. There’s also a set of newcomers set to join the franchise, including Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux and Monica Bellucci, who is set to play Beetlejuice’s wife. “Wednesday” star Jenna Ortega is also listed as part of the cast, playing Lydia’s daughter.
