An Oklahoma City resident found what is believed to be an artillery shell on Sunday evening.
The Oklahoma City Police Department said a person called around 8:15 p.m. and said they were digging in their garden near Northwest 13th Street and Ellison Avenue when they found what appeared to be an artillery shell.

Police arrived and cleared the area, making sure people backed away from the shell.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department and EMSA also responded to the scene. Police said they set up a perimeter around the area.
Authorities are on the way to retrieve the artillery shell, according to police.
