Ah yeah. New data out from the Consumer Price index and it's showing prices are falling. Yes, falling. You heard me right for some major items, it could mean it's your time to buy here are the top three things that I've seen dramatic price drops in the past year. First when it comes to groceries, every food category on the list is up, except for beef and bacon, beef is down 3% while bacon prices have dropped nearly 4%. This next one is huge. Used cars and trucks have dropped 11.6%. Global auto production has increased. Supply chain problems are easing up so we can see that auto number continued to come down maybe the time to buy in the coming months. And finally this one will surprise you. Prices For some electronics are down. Get this televisions costing 13.2% less and smartphones with the most dramatic drop nearly 24% less. While we haven't seen inflation ease up on most things at least. You know, prices are dropping on some things. We'll keep you posted on my website. Rawson reports.com back to you.

Fire TV Omni QLED UpdatesThe Fire TV Omni QLED Series is one of the most popular televisions on the market. Amazon is adding three new screen sizes to the series – 43 inches, 50 inches and 55 inches. What makes this series so popular is the technology powering its display — the 4K quantum dot technology — which Amazon says provides a cinematic experience. In addition, the TVs come with built-in microphones to have customers use Alexa from anywhere in the room to find apps, discover shows and control the TV’s “ambient experience.”Speaking of that “experience,” new updates are coming to TVs with this technology. Owners of these TVs can curate customizable information like their schedule, leave notes for family members and control smart devices like thermostats or Ring Video doorbells. Amazon says later this year, the “ambient experience’ will be enhanced to feature dynamic art, a concept that will adapt to your current environment based on the time of day, temperature, weather and other factors. Company officials believe they found that answer with the all-new Fire TV 2-Series. The smart TV comes in two sizes – 32 inches and 40 inches – and includes an Alexa voice remote to easily find, launch and control content, check the status of your smart home devices, and more. The Fire TV 2-Series 32-inch model has high-definition resolution, while the 40-inch model comes with a full high-definition display. Both sizes include support for HDR 10, HLG, and Dolby Digital Audio. Neither of the TVs have a 4K display. The 32-inch model’s price tag is $199.99, while the 40-inch display will cost you $249.99.Hearing aid compatibility on Amazon Fire TVsLastly, Amazon announced that all of their Fire TVs, including their new Fire TV 2-Series, support open-source audio streaming for hearing aids. This will allow millions of people who rely on hearing aids and implants and have compatible Starkey Bluetooth hearing aids or Cochlear hearing implant sound processors to connect directly to Amazon Fire TVs and enjoy audio from their favorite streaming apps, like Very Local, hear navigational sounds and more.
