In the aftermath of the school shooting in Nashville, many people might wonder how safe public schools are and what's being done to protect students and teachers.Last year, Hearst Television's National Investigative Unit began an exclusive series titled "Securing Our Schools." At the start of the 2022-2023 school year, a 15-item questionnaire was sent to public school districts across the county.
