A high-profile movie shot in Oklahoma has finally gotten an official release date.

Variety reports that "Killers of the Flower Moon," which was filmed in Oklahoma in 2021, will open in limited theaters starting Oct. 6 and will have a wide release on Oct. 20. The Apple Original Films-produced movie also will start streaming on Apple TV+ at an unspecified date.
Paramount Pictures will partner with Apple for the theatrical release, according to Variety.
"Killers of the Flower Moon" is a Martin Scorsese film that features an impressive cast headlined by Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, John Lithgow and Brendan Fraser.
The movie, which is based on David Grann's best-selling book, is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror.
While shooting in Oklahoma, DiCaprio and other members of the cast were seen visiting various museums and attractions – including the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, the First Americans Museum, the Gilcrease Museum and the Outsiders House Museum.
