A roof collapsed while crews battled a fire early Monday morning at a Warr Acres home.

Authorities said they battled heavy, visible flames after arriving at the home in the 5800 block of Caddo Court, near North MacArthur Boulevard and Northwest Expressway, after 3:30 a.m. The flames caused the roof to collapse with crews still inside, but they got out safely and battled the fire from outside.
A search and rescue team did not find anyone inside the home, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
