Kevin Durant officially signed by Golden State Warriors
Former Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant has been officially signed by the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors agreed to a two year, $54.3 million deal with Durant, with a player option for the second year.
Durant announced Monday on The Players' Tribune of his decision to join the Warriors.
Durant was introduced as a member of Golden State at a news conference Thursday afternoon.

Durant, 27, played for the Thunder franchise for nine seasons, averaging 27.4 points and seven rebounds per game. He was named league MVP during the 2013-14 season.
The Warriors had the best regular season in NBA history during the 2015-16 season, at 73-9, but fell in game 7 of the NBA finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
