Closing arguments are set to take place Monday in Oklahoma’s historic opioid crisis trial against Big Pharma. The court adjourned around 1:20 p.m. Friday for the final time in Oklahoma’s trial against Johnson & Johnson. Oklahoma accused the drug-maker of helping fuel the opioid crisis in our state. The defense rested their case, while the state had a brief rebuttal before resting their case Friday, the final day of testimony. Closing arguments will begin at 9 a.m. Monday. They will have two hours each. The judge will deliberate the case for as long as a month. Two other companies, OxyContin-maker Purdue Pharma and Teva Pharmaceuticals , have already settled with Oklahoma.
